Book/Bake Sale at Roberts-LaForge Library


Please come to the Spring Book and Bake Sale!  A portion of the proceeds will be donated to support our childhood literacy campaign--Born to Read.


Thursday, May 6, 2010, from 9:30 AM until 3:00 PM
Roberts-LaForge Library, IRC, First Floor


The pricing structure for the book sale will be: Mass Market Paperbacks are .50; Trade Paperbacks are .75; Hardbacks are $1.00, Audio CDs are $3.00; and VHS/DVD/Computer Games are $5.00.  There will also be a few ARC/signed copies of mystery novels available at a premium price. Come pick up a good read and a cupcake, too!









Roberts-LaForge Library Open Special Hours for Finals Week

Looking for somewhere to study for finals? Roberts-LaForge Library is open special hours during finals week.

May 3 through May 7 we will be open from 7am to 2am. The Circulation desk will close at its regular time of 10:15pm.

Celebration of Children, Books & Cultures

First Annual Celebration of Children, Books & Cultures: Please join the Roberts-LaForge Library, Information Resources Center, and College of Education as we host the First Annual Celebration of Children, Books & Cultures in the IRC, First Floor, Roberts-LaForge Library, on Sunday April 25th from 2:00-4:00pm. Join us for an afternoon of crafts, a puppet show, sampling of multicultural children's litearture, and informal discussions with librarians and faculty on reading with your child. A Celebration of Children, Books and Cultures is a part of the American Library Association's El dia de los ninos/El dia de los libros.
