About Me

  • I am 28 years old.
  • I've lived in Tempe, Arizona, Germantown, Tennessee, Jackson, Mississippi, and Athens, Georgia.
  • I graduated with magna cum laude honors in history from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi (2004).
  • I was an active member of Delta Delta Delta Fraternity
  • I was an All-Conference, Academic All-American Volleyball player for Millsaps College (2000-2003)
  • I completed a Master of Arts in History at the University of Georgia (2007).
  • I completed a Master of Library and Information Science, Technology Track, at Valdosta State University (2009).
  • I am the charter member of the Beta Beta Mu Chapter of Beta Phi Mu (2010).
  • I currently work as the Assistant to the Director and Development Coordinator at the University of Georgia Press.
  • My husband, Drew, is finishing a Ph.D. in history at the University of Georgia.
  • We have a dog--McGriff, beagle--and a cat--Ruffin, tabby.
  • Our first child, Ethan, was born 25 November 2009.
  • I enjoy reading, working out, playing indoor and outdoor volleyball, watching sports, and learning!
